We live in a world where 4-stars is a failing grade, so why bother? We’re all about supporting each other. Not dragging each other down. No stars because you’re all stars.

Okay okay….we don’t think we need to live in a “participation trophy” world for us to all do well, but the world of stars is broken. If you’ve ever gasped at a friend who gave a rideshare driver a 3-star rating, you understand. Star ratings rule who stands out on most directories. We promote community by scrapping the star scale.

Your business shouldn’t suffer because your star team member had an off day, and the local grump happened to be their customer. While reviews can be helpful (we read plenty of them ourselves), the star scale leads businesses to focus on vanity metrics to prove they’re worthy of local attention. Businesses should be able to be found without committing to hours of extra work to maintain a perfect 5-star rating.

We source information from users to ensure profiles are up-to-date. You can add your local listing(s) to be sure users can find you. Come on back to update it as needed, but don’t worry — with no stars and no reviews, this isn’t a fulltime commitment.

Free Business Listings

Listings are free. While we have some monetized offerings, the basic listing is free for businesses with no credit card needed.

Unlike other directories and websites which claim to have free options only to discover it’s highly limited or payment is needed for customers to contact you, our basic listing is free. We may offer other add-on services to monetize, but the goal is for local businesses to have easier access to customers. We want to see our community win, so our paid options are designed to be low-cost-to-entry and non-essential to a complete profile.

Our ease and low-cost-to-entry make the choice for businesses easy, but we make it worthwhile for local users to browse listings by making decisions easy. We offer easily sorted lists and directories to ensure all brands can be found. We also produce curated content to boost inbound digital visits by highlighting local listings. Finally, we know choice can be difficult — some categories more than others. When it’s their night to choose dinner, a simple click of a button will randomly point them in the right direction.
